Makeup Artistry Master Class

Service Description

This Masterclass is a four day program. Classes are scheduled for 36 hours total completing 6 models. A student must successfully complete both theory, hands on and at least 6 models of full sets in order to obtain a Certificate. Each section of the course includes both theoretical and mostly practical hands on work. At the end of each model, a Pro Makeup Artist will thoroughly check to see if everything is done properly. Students receive a mark and written feedback after each model.  Students are also encouraged to bring a digital camera to keep record of their practical work for themselves.  Please note that it is necessary to bring models for the practical work.  Students must provide their own models. MAKEUP FUNDAMENTALS All makeup artists begin with a good foundation. In this introductory level you will develop a solid base of skills and knowledge, to build upon throughout the program. Face shape, eyes, lips and brows take centre stage as you learn the essentials of makeup application and explore colour, texture and light. Learn to care for the skin and work with different skin types, tones, ages and ethnic groups. Develop techniques for blending, contouring, shading and highlighting through practical applications in daytime and evening makeup, and classic, natural, glamour and dramatic styles. Learn industry standards for cleaning and hygiene and develop hands-on product knowledge with industry pros ​
